About Kaloniki Rooms & Suites
This property boasts a million-dollar view of the Aegean Sea, the island of Telendos, and several nearby islets. Originally established as a bed & breakfast by my aunt Niki under the name “Niki’s Pension,” this family legacy has now been passed down to her niece to carry on the tradition that began here in the rock climbing mountains of Kalymnos, Greece, back in the 1970s.
This gated private oasis offers a secure and serene environment for you and your guests. That is why we provide a wide range of home-like amenities to ensure a comfortable and fulfilling stay. Biography
Owner: Kalotina Karamalegos
I was born here on the island of Kalymnos.
At the age of five, my parents made the courageous decision to move our family to the United States in search of a better future. It was a long journey—13 days across the Atlantic Ocean to a new land where dreams could become reality. I lived there as a permanent resident for 56 years, raising my family and embracing the Greek-American way of life.
As an adult, I studied Computer Business, Science, and Accounting. Yet every year, I returned to Kalymnos—specifically to this very property and the beloved Masouri Beach. Over the years, I’ve cherished everything this beautiful area has to offer, and I believe that you, too, will fall in love with it just as I have.
I love swimming in the Aegean Sea, hiking these stunning mountains, and simply breathing in the fresh, invigorating air that this place so generously offers. When I say “breathtaking,” I truly mean it. The inspiration you’ll feel from this view is real, and it’s something that will stay with you long after your visit.
